Saints Policy

Much of our video and social media content revolves around veneration of the Saints, who are believed to intercede on behalf of the living by joining their prayers with our own. Unfortunately, Christianity has suffered a number of schisms throughout its history, and even those denominations that actively recognize the Saints do not always agree on who should be canonized.

Although Rosary24.live is not affiliated with any particular denomination, our work requires us to make decisions about which Saints to feature in our content. When making these decisions, we often focus on the time of year, as Christians have a long history of organizing feasts, solemnities, and other important expressions of faith using liturgical calendars.

Not all Saints were perfect in life. Even St. Peter the Apostle denied Christ three times. While we understand that people may have very strong feelings about who may or may not deserve Sainthood, our policy is to err on the side of grace. When in doubt, we prefer to assume that the merits which caused a church to canonize an individual outweigh any sins that person may have committed in life.
